Industrial Crispy Batter Mix

Ingredients Required:
  • Gluten Free Crispy Batter Mix -150 g
  • Water – 190 ml – 250 ml

Method:
  • Place gluten free crispy batter mix in a large bowl and add the water whilst whisking with a fork or whisk.
  • Mix well until the ingredients are fully combined.
  • Immerse food in batter
  • Deep fry in hot oil (approx 180 C) until coating is crisp and golden
  • Place cooked food on absorbent paper towel.
Recipe Tips:
  • The amount of water added will determine the thickness of the batter
  • Water may be replaced with soda water or gluten free beer if desired.
  • It is recommended to pre-dust before battering with any gluten free flour or starch product; this will assist batter adherence.

Store in a cool dry area away from direct sunlight.
