Product Description White, dry soft free flowing powder with a sweet vanilla aroma.

Gluten Free Instant Custard Recipe (vanilla slice custard)

Ingredients Required:
  • Instant custard powder -1000 g
  • Milk (any type) – 1.5 liters
  • Water – 1.5 liters
  • Light Oil – 120 ml

  • Mix all ingredients on high speed for 1-2 minutes.
  • Spreed evenly at desired thickness onto a gluten free sponge or gluten free puff pastry sheet.
  • Firmly press a second sheet on top of custard layer.
  • Chill and allow to set for 20 – 40 minutes before slicing.

Custard recipe for a custard tart:Custard recipe for pouring custard:
  • For custard tarts increase liquid ingredients – Milk (any type) – 1.75 liters.   Water – 1.75 liters
  • Reduce mixing time to 20-30 seconds or until desired viscosity
  • For pouring custard increase liquid ingredients – Milk (any type) – 2.4 liters.   Water – 2.4 liters
  • Reduce mixing time to 20-30 seconds or until desired viscosity
  • Add a dash of brandy for a perfect accompaniment to Christmas pudding
